* Operating billings is an operating measure defined as the aggregate value of all invoices sent to our customers in a given period.
** As of 12/31/2016
*** We calculate this metric by comparing the aggregate annualized customer subscription contract value as of a date against those customers that were also customers as of the date 12 months prior, divided by the aggregate annualized subscription contract value from all customers as of the date 12 months earlier. This approach captures customer expansion, renewal and attrition in the aggregate.

WE WORK WITHIN THE COMMUNITY FOR THE ENTERPRISE

Our founding belief is that innovation and adoption of platform technologies like Hadoop is best accomplished through collaborative open source development under the governance model of the Apache Software Foundation (ASF). Done right, open source helps create an equitable balance of power and a fair exchange of value between vendor and consumer.
